Monzur Ahmed was last seen in Luton on 31 October

Police are concerned for the safety of a 15-year-old boy from Luton who has been missing for a week.

Monzur Ahmed, of Beech Road, Luton, was last seen at 1530 GMT on Saturday 31 October after leaving Britannia School in Leagrave Road.

He had received a call on his mobile phone just before he went missing.

Bedfordshire Police said officers were worried about Monzur because of his age and there appeared to be no reason for his disappearance.

He is described as a light-skinned Asian boy of thin build.

When he disappeared he was wearing traditional dark Islamic dress with jeans.
