Sex assault on girl in alleyway

A teenage girl has been sexually assaulted in an alley in Hertfordshire.

Police said she was walking along the passage in Laurel Fields, Potters Bar, when a man approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately.

It happened between 2020 and 2050 BST on Saturday. The girl kicked the man and ran away to tell her parents.

Police have warned girls and women to be "extra vigilant". The attacker is described as white, between 40 and 50 and about 5ft 10ins tall.

He had a deep voice and hairy fingers, police said.
