People can be seen running away in the CCTV footage

Bedfordshire police have released CCTV footage of the firebombing of an Islamic Centre in Luton.

The centre in Bury Park Road was set on fire on 5 May. The blaze gutted the centre but no-one was injured.

Officers, who previously ruled out a racial motive, are now releasing the CCTV in a hope to encourage witnesses to come forward.

The footage shows two men approaching the centre, then fleeing the scene lit up by the explosion they started.
