The family of an Oxfordshire teenager who was killed in a road accident at the weekend has paid tribute to him.

It is believed Greg Stiles from Thame died after he tried to avoid a vehicle overtaking cars near Kingsey, Buckinghamshire, on Sunday afternoon.

The 18-year-old was described as "an active and athletic young man".

Police are trying to track down the driver of a vehicle which failed to stop. Another teenager is in a stable condition at Stoke Mandeville hospital.

Greg went to Barley Hill Primary School and was then a Lord Williams's School pupil until 2008 when he completed his A-Levels.

He was in the middle of completing a scaffolding course as an employee of Connect Scaffolding in Thame.

The teenager was a Vale of the White Horse motocross club champion and had also worked as a lifeguard at Thame Leisure Centre for a number of years.
