Body found in lagoon 'suspicious'

Police are treating the discovery of a body at a lagoon in Bedfordshire as suspicious.

Officers were called to the Blue Lagoon in Arlesey at about 1350 BST following reports of a body being found.

The major crime unit has started an investigation as forensics officers examine the area where the body was discovered.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police have recovered the body from the scene and are treating the death as suspicious."
