Man denies murdering teenage girl

A 23-year-old man has denied murdering a teenager in Bedfordshire.

Karl Oakley, of Trent Road, Luton, pleaded not guilty to murder when he appeared at Luton Crown Court.

Taylor Burrows, 18, of Enderby Road, Luton, was stabbed to death at an address in the same road on 21 February.

Mr Oakley was remanded in custody to appear at Luton Crown Court for trial on 1 September when the hearing is expected to last up to 10 days.
