Sex assault on woman in car park

A woman was seriously sexually assaulted in a car park in Bedfordshire, police have said.

The attack happened in Luton in the early hours of Friday, but police have only just released details.

The woman was walking through the Central Library car park when she was pulled into a stairwell and attacked.

A police spokeswoman said someone may have seen the attacker as he had tried to engage the woman in conversation while she was walking along.
