Man charged with attempted murder

A man from Hertfordshire has been charged with attempted murder and sexual assault.

Samuel Olusegun Yinusa, 23, of St Audrey's Close, Hatfield, is accused of attempting to murder and sexually assaulting a 24-year-old woman.

The woman was treated for neck and facial injuries after the alleged incident on 7 January, police said.

Mr Yinusa was due to appear at Hatfield Remand Court - a newly-opened court hearing remand cases only.
