Norovirus-hit ward still closed

Bedford Hospital
Only Pilgrim ward remains shut as the virus is contained

One ward at Bedford Hospital is still closed because of a sickness bug.

Pilgrim ward remains closed to help stop the potential spread of the norovirus infection to patients, visitors, and members of staff.

Whitbread ward was reopened over the weekend and Godber ward is reopening after a deep clean.

Visitors are advised to telephone ahead as the hospital is restricted to essential visits only including the Cygnet Wing.
