Man in court charged with murder

A man charged with murdering a 22-year-old woman whose body was found in a house in Buckinghamshire has appeared before magistrates.

Jason Burrows, 34, of Milton Road, Broughton, Milton Keynes, has been charged with the murder of Gemma Sisley, from Newport Pagnell.

Mr Burrows appeared before Aylesbury Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody to a later date.

Ms Sisley was found dead at an address in Milton Road, Broughton, on Thursday.

Post-mortem examination results found she had died from strangulation.

Earlier Ms Sisley's parents issued a statement paying tribute to "our darling daughter".

"Gemma was a fun-loving, caring, bubbly daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend," said the family.

"Gemma will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her."
