Car driver dies after collision

A woman has died in a collision between two cars in Buckinghamshire.

Claire Bale, 28, was driving along the A509, near Newport Pagnell, early on Sunday morning when she was in collision with another car.

She was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital where she later died from her injuries, Thames Valley Police said.

The man driving the other vehicle and a female passenger suffered minor injuries. Police appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
