People living in parts of Bedfordshire have a final chance to comment on the future of housing development over the next 18 years.
Mid Bedfordshire must accommodate around 17,000 new homes.
The district council's consultation document shows possible locations for development and sets the policies for determining planning applications.
After the six-week consultation, the plan will be submitted to the Secretary of State.
A number of developments for the area have already been granted planning permission, including developments like Wixams new settlement, land east of Biggleswade, Fairfield Park and land south of Stotfold.
However, around 4,800 new homes and 10,000 jobs still need to be planned for.
The draft plan also considers the potential for an Eco-town in the Marston Vale.
