CCTV images of a woman whose body was found by fishermen in a lake in Hertfordshire have been released by police in a bid to identify her.

The woman's body was found in a lake near Cadmore Lane, Cheshunt, on Friday.

The woman had no identification on her but had an Oyster card which showed it had been used extensively on public transport in the London area.

The CCTV showed the woman in a shop in Brixton on the afternoon of 1 October where she topped up her Oyster card.

The woman, who was black and aged in her late 20s to early 30s, was wearing a dark t-shirt with the words To Catch a Mouse embroidered on the back, denim jacket, jeans and white trainers.

Anyone who may know the woman or saw anyone matching her description near the lake on Friday has been asked to contact Hertfordshire Police.
