A businessman who hired out his house for a film starring James Bond star Daniel Craig is suing the production company for nearly £100,000 damages.

Glen Haysman agreed to let scenes from Flashbacks Of A Fool be shot at his home in Batchworth Hill, London Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.

Mrs Rogers Films Ltd admitted breaching the location agreement by causing some damage but disputed the amount of loss.

A judge at London's High Court said he would give his ruling at a later date.

Mr Haysman claims he needed sleeping pills to deal with the stress caused by extensive damage to the driveway and interior of his four-bedroom property - complete with indoor swimming pool - in which he has lived since 1998.

Rejected claims

His claim cited holes sunk into the drive by heavy lorries, damaged wallpaper and paintwork and the loss of a wine decanter.

Mrs Rogers Films Ltd admitted breaching the May 2007 location agreement and agreed to pay for the bulk of the driveway repairs, all the interior repairs and the £100 cost of the decanter, but said that Mr Haysman was due £69,592 rather than the £99,857 he had claimed.

The company rejected his claims for loss of enjoyment, the cost of security and the lost opportunity of entering into another location agreement while repairs were going on.

Deputy Judge Derek Sweeting QC, at London's High Court, said that he would give his ruling on the dispute at a later unspecified date.
