Man charged in boat death probe

A man has been charged in connection with the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found on a boat.

Police responded to reports of a man, aged 53, and a woman, aged 39, injured on the boat on the canal at Stoke Hammond, near Milton Keynes, on Sunday.

Officers found the couple's bodies. They had suffered fatal stab wounds.

William Cranston, 43, from Stoke Hammond, has been charged with murder and is due before Aylesbury Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
