Bedfordshire County Council have criticised unitary plans
Roads in north Bedfordshire have been closed due to flooding.

Bedfordshire County Council have closed the approach roads to four bridges over the river Great Ouse, at Radwell, Felmersham, Harrold and Oakley.

Warning signs have been put up for drivers and diversion routes have been put in place.

Drivers have been strongly advised not to attempt to drive through the flooded roads and to stick to the diversion routes, said a council spokesman.
