A 24-year-old man is to appear in court charged in connection with the inquiry into the deaths of two men and a teenager last month.

Keith Cowell, 52, his son Matthew, 17 and Tony Dulieu, 33, were shot dead on 28 August in Bishop's Stortford, Herts.

Jay Thakrar, of Lomond Way, Stevenage, is to appear before the town's magistrates on Wednesday charged with assisting an offender.

One man was remanded in custody earlier this month charged with murder.

Kevan Thakrar, 20, of Lomond Way, Stevenage, is charged with three counts of murder and two of attempted murder and his father Atul Thakrar, 46, of Compton Place, Northwood, has been charged with assisting an offender.

Two women, Mr Cowell's 54-year-old sister and Matthew's 23-year-old girlfriend, were injured in the incident at the Cowell family home.

A three-year-old girl who was in the property at the time was unhurt.
