Man injured in town attack dies
A man who suffered serious head injuries in an attack has died.

Neil Abrams, 43, of Pitstone, Bucks, died at the Royal Free Hospital in London where he was taken after the incident in Leighton Buzzard on Sunday.

Luke John Elliott, 20, of Thrift Road, Heath and Reach, Beds, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the incident.

On Wednesday he was remanded in custody by Luton magistrates to appear before Luton Crown Court on 29 October.

Two other men arrested on suspicion of violent disorder are being questioned.
