The last old bridge will be demolished
A stretch of the M1 in Bedfordshire will be closed for 18 hours while work is carried out to demolish a bridge.

The motorway will be closed at junction 10 in Luton from 2000 BST until 1400 BST on Sunday.

The Highways Agency is advising motorists to seek alternative routes or leave extra time for their journeys as long delays are expected.

The last old bridge will be demolished as part of the M1 widening scheme between junction 6a and junction 10.
