Tories retain North Herts control
The Conservatives have kept their hold on North Hertfordshire despite being the only party to lose seats in the district council.

Thirty of the district council's 49 seats now remain with the Conservative party following Thursday's poll.

The Tory party's losses led to Labour gaining one seat and Liberal Democrats receiving an extra two.

The Labour party have ten seats and the Liberal Democrats have nine following the local election.
