Wycombe still a Tory stronghold
Wycombe District Council has remained a stronghold for the Conservative party which increased its majority in Thursday's polls.

The Conservatives have maintained power with 49 of the Buckinghamshire district's 60 seats.

The Liberal Democrats gained two seats and independent candidates doubled their numbers to four.

Losses were made by the Labour party which lost four of its nine seats in the local election.
