Moped rider dies in road accident
A moped rider has died in a collision with another motorist in Hertfordshire, police have said.

The incident, involving a blue Citroen dispatch van and a silver Piaggio 125 moped, took place along Six Hills Way in Stevenage on Wednesday.

The victim, a man in his 40s from Stevenage, was taken to the town's Lister hospital where he died.

A 27-year-old man from Stevenage has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released on bail to return to Stevenage police station on 22 February.
