Man dies in collision with cars
A 67-year-old man died when he was struck by two cars while crossing a main road after leaving a social club.

The man was crossing the A421 at Brogborough in Bedfordshire when he was hit by a BMW 320 and a Renault Clio both travelling towards Bedford.

He was declared dead on arrival at Bedford Hospital's South Wing.

Police said a full investigation was under way and the man's identity would be revealed when an inquest was opened. Neither of the car drivers was injured.
