Wajid Khan was attacked with baseball bats in Luton
Four friends of a 21-year-old man beaten to death with baseball bats are to face violent disorder charges.

Detectives investigating the murder of Wajid Khan last month have charged four Luton men caught up in a fight in the town's Leagrave Road.

They are Zahoor Sabir, 20, Abdul Ghafoor, 21, Naveed Hussain, 20, and Mohammed Parves Khan, 21.

Crown prosecutors decided to bring the case after the four men were arrested on 2 November.

They were charged but released on police bail, with conditions, to appear at Luton Magistrates' Court.

Four other men have already been charged with being concerned together with others in the murder of Wajid Khan and are currently remanded in custody.

They will appear at Luton Crown Court on 5 February 2007.
