Driver dies after car hits sign
A woman has died in hospital after her car left the road and struck a sign on a grass verge in Buckinghamshire.

The accident happened on the A41 Aston Clinton by-pass in Aylesbury on Monday.

The woman driver, who has not yet been formally identified, was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital by ambulance. She later died from her injuries.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police has said no other vehicles were involved in the crash and no-one else was injured.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
