King's Wood at High Wycombe
Police cordoned off King's Wood at High Wycombe
Detectives investigating an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners have searched a second area of woodland in Buckinghamshire.

Anti-terror police began examining areas of a wood at Lane End overnight on Wednesday.

It follows a search of King's Wood eight miles away in High Wycombe.

The search comes as 11 people appeared in court in London on Tuesday accused of being involved in the alleged plot, and were remanded in custody.

On Thursday a 12th man was charged in connection with the alleged plot. He will appear in court on Friday.

Two other people were released without charge on Wednesday after being questioned by police.

Officers have been given more time to quiz eight other suspects.

All were arrested in police raids in Walthamstow, east London, High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire and Birmingham on 10 August.
