Police searching for a missing girl have charged a man with child abduction and a second offence.

Mehdi Boudjedra, 31, of Askew Crescent, Shepherd's Bush, west London, was arrested in central London on Friday and is due in court on Monday morning.

Hannah Rodrigues, 15, was last seen at a bus stop close to her St Albans home on Wednesday afternoon.

Hertfordshire Police said it was investigating a sighting of the teenager in Fulham, west London.

Hannah's mother Fiona pleaded for her to phone home on Saturday.

She said: "Hannah, we love you and want you to come home.

"We just want to know that you're all right. Please contact us to let us know."
