Murder case will not be reopened

Barri White was jailed for the murder of his teenage girlfriend

The case of the murder of 19-year-old Rachel Manning will not be reopened, Thames Valley Police have confirmed.

Ms Manning's body was found at Woburn Golf Course, Bucks, in December 2000.

Barri White was jailed for life for murdering Ms Manning, his girlfriend. Keith Hyatt was sentenced to five years for perverting the course of justice.

Detectives said they had received just five responses to a recent BBC Rough Justice programme raising concerns over the forensic evidence in the case.
