A special needs school in Bedfordshire has had animals on its farm repeatedly attacked by teenagers.
Gangs of youths have been gathering outside Weatherfield School, Brewers Hill Road, Dunstable, and then moving onto the site to attack the animals.
Two young people were seen to wrestle two newborn lambs to the ground and an attempt was made to steal a goldfish from a pond.
The deputy headteacher Kate Blake said the behaviour was "cruelty to animals".
She said the farm, which is also home to goats, hens, geese, a duck, guinea pigs and rabbits, was an important part of the school.
Anyone with information is asked to call Bedfordshire Police.
