Coach depot fire destroys buses
A suspicious fire at a Bedfordshire bus station on Thursday night has destroyed 11 buses and disrupted services.

The blaze broke out at the Stagecoach depot on the Eldon Way Industrial Estate in Biggleswade at 2330 BST.

Fire investigation officers and scenes of crime experts were meeting at the depot on Friday to establish a cause.

Operator Stagecoach has warned passengers to expect disruption until other buses from around the county could be redeployed.

The company said the only school transport to be affected was to the Harpur Trust school in the Biggleswade/Bedford area.
