Two arrested after stabbing at Stow horse fair

A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing at a horse fair in Stow-on-the-Wolds.

A 33-year-old man from Dunstable suffered wounds to his stomach in the incident at the Stow Fair at 1220 BST on Thursday.

He is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

A woman, 51, and a man, 58, were arrested in Luton in the early hours of Friday.

The event, held every May and October, attracts hundreds of visitors.
