An armed robber was tackled by a customer in a Leeds betting office who had been threatened at gunpoint.
Judo enthusiast Martin Richardson could now be in line for a bravery award after preventing Azar Sulman's escape after the robbery at a William Hill branch in January.
Twenty-year-old student Sulman has been sentenced to a six-year term in a young offenders' institution after admitting a series of robberies.
