Cyclist killed in collision with lorry in Southampton

A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a lorry in Southampton.

The crash happened at the junction of Northam Road and Prince's Street, near the Northam Bridge, just after 1130 GMT.

The cyclist was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Southampton General Hospital. No more details are yet known about the victim.

The 59-year-old driver of the lorry was uninjured. Road closures and diversions are in place.
