Simon Wrixon should not be approached by members of the public

A man who has gone missing from Poole, Dorset is "likely" to become violent and aggressive, police say.

Simon Wrixon, 32, vanished from his home on Sunday without taking his mental health medication with him.

Police say without it, Mr Wrixon's health will deteriorate and he should not be approached. Anyone who sees him should ring 999 immediately.

He is described as white, 6ft 2in, of stocky build, with dark brown hair and a brown beard.

He was wearing a grey hooded top, a blue and yellow t-shirt and blue tracksuit bottoms when he was last seen.

Insp Mark Handscombe appealed for anyone who has seen Mr Wrixon, or has any information about his whereabouts, to contact them.

"Without this medication Simon's health will deteriorate quite quickly," he said.

"This will adversely affect his behaviour towards members of the public with whom he is likely to become aggressive and violent.

"As well as making inquiries locally we have been speaking with Sussex Police as when he has gone missing in the past he has been found at a Brighton address."
