Van driver in M25 crash is named

Police at crash scene
It is thought the driver lost control of the transit van on the M25

A van driver who died when his vehicle left the road and came to a halt in a wooded area at the bottom of an M25 embankment in Surrey has been named.

Michael Stuart Bradley, 49, from Wickford, Essex, died at the scene after his van came to rest on its side on the anti-clockwise section.

Police said Mr Bradley was the only person in the van and no other vehicles were involved in Sunday's crash.

The accident happened between junction 6 and Clacket Lane services.

Officers have renewed their appeal for anyone who saw the van before the crash, or witnessed it leaving the road at about 0730 GMT to contact the Surrey Police collision investigation unit.
