A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a taxi driver in Birmingham. Father-of-three Mohammed Arshad, 36, was found with stab wounds to his head in Wast Hills Lane, Kings Norton, on 22 July. He died the next day in hospital. Detectives investigating the case made a further appeal for information on the BBC's Crimewatch programme on Thursday. Officers said the arrested man was being questioned at a police station in north Worcestershire. A spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said the man, from the Kings Norton area, was arrested on Saturday night. Mr Arshad was a self-employed taxi driver for A Cars. His taxi was found abandoned about a mile away from him on the Hawkesley estate in Kings Norton. The Crimewatch appeal showed CCTV footage of a man on a bus on the night of the attack. After the programme, detectives said they had received calls from members of the public giving four possible names for the man in the images.
