Body found at sea is identified

The body of a woman pulled from the water off the coast of Felixstowe in Suffolk has been identified as a woman from Ipswich.

The body of the woman, aged in her 50s, was spotted on Tuesday morning by a crew member on board an anchored ship.

The Harwich inshore lifeboat recovered the body and Essex police began an investigation.

Police said the death has been reported to the coroner and is currently being treated as unexplained.
