Seventeen people, most of them children on a day trip to West Midlands Safari Park, have been injured in a crash involving two coaches and a car. The crash happened on the A449 at Hawford, near Worcester about 1000 BST. The coaches were taking secondary pupils from Rednock School, Dursley, Gloucestershire, to the attraction. Two adults and 14 children from the coaches and the car driver were taken to hospital with minor injuries, West Midlands Ambulance Service said. A spokesman for the service said they all had neck pain and were complaining of feeling unwell. "They were all 'walking wounded' casualties who were taken to a nearby campsite away from the road to be assessed and treated," he said. The injured people were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
