Man fined over Trisha show attack

A Lincolnshire man who admitted carrying out an attack during the filming of TV's Trisha show has been fined £100 by magistrates.

Ian Wallace, 24, of Woodland Avenue, Spilsby, pleaded guilty to common assault before magistrates in Skegness.

He was appearing on Trisha on Five, which is filmed in Kent, with his girlfriend and a love rival when the attack happened off-camera in February.

Wallace was also ordered to pay court costs of £75.

TV channel Five announced in January that it was dropping Trisha Goddard's morning show from its schedule after its current run ends.

The show, filmed at Maidstone Studios, encourages guests to try to resolve their conflicts with loved ones.
