Boost to access to NHS dentistry

An extra 7,000 patients in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth will have access to NHS dentists following £1.4m investment by the local health trust.

NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney (NHSGYW) is helping the Corton Road practice in Lowestoft and the Crown Road surgery in Great Yarmouth increase capacity.

There will be 4,000 extra patients in Lowestoft and 3,000 in Great Yarmouth.

Elaine Bond, from NHSGYW, said they were always keen to increase the number of patients treated by NHS dentists.

A new NHS practice in Southwold is also opening later in the summer.
