Electrical fault delays trains

An electrical fault on the line between Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa has caused disruption to train services.

The fault was discovered at 0500 GMT and passengers travelling between Bristol and Bath, and between Bath and Westbury in Wiltshire, are affected.

First Great Western's London Paddington services are being diverted and will not call at either Bath or Chippenham.

Network Rail hope to repair the fault by 1300 GMT with services being back to normal by 1500 GMT.
