Watchdog wants train improvements

A passenger watchdog has asked rail operator National Express to improve the punctuality of services and add more seats to trains.

National Express East Anglia has been at the lower end of rankings for passenger satisfaction this year.

Passenger Focus, the independent national rail consumer watchdog, has said it expects better from the company in 2009.

It is asking for more services to be on time and for more seats on trains.
