Your pictures: Snow disruption

Many commuters in northern England faced problems getting to work after more heavy snowfall. Vic Klein from Middleham, North Yorkshire, could not get his car out.

Jen Mason, from Bradford, was stranded too after her car also became stuck.

Highway officials were working hard across the region to clear the roads, as Giles Rochall from Harrogate spotted.

But the wintry conditions proved too treacherous for some drivers on the roads. Dave Foster photographed this abandoned lorry in Consett, County Durham.

Others, including Alva James who took this photo of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, were more happy to enjoy the wintry weather.
