Fifteen held in dawn drugs raids

Police raid
Officers executed coordinated raids early on Wednesday

Fifteen people have been arrested in a series of early morning drugs raids across Hampshire, Surrey and London.

Addresses were searched in Aldershot, Farnborough, Fleet, Farnham, Camberley, Ash and London on Wednesday.

The warrants were executed as part of an investigation into the illegal supply of heroin and crack cocaine in the north east Hampshire area.

The 15 people arrested are currently being questioned by officers at stations across the county.

Supt Barry Talbot, of Hampshire police, said: "The execution of these search warrants is directed at disrupting the drugs supply network and drugs-related activity in the area by removing drugs at their source.

"Today's operation is a collaborative police effort, operating across police boundaries in pursuit of suspected drugs suppliers.

"The police operation is continuing and further arrests are anticipated in connection with this inquiry."
