Five charged after police raids

Five people have been charged following police raids at 15 homes in Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire and London.

Officers executed warrants at addresses in Stanwell, Shepperton, Egham, Sunbury, Crawley, Chichester, Wraysbury, and Hounslow.

The raids were part of Operation Shield, which targets criminals coming into Surrey from other counties.

Five men, aged between 21 and 28, from Addlestone, Ashford and Stanwell were charged with conspiracy to burgle.
