A man charged over a raid on a farmhouse in which a farmer's wife died has denied fuel theft and wounding.
Rosemary Dove, 68, collapsed after dialling 999 during a raid at her home in East House Farm, Bishop Middleham, County Durham, on 24 June.
Her son Michael was injured when he was hit by the alleged getaway vehicle.
Tony Blair, 21, of Leeholme Road, Coundon, denied wounding, theft, handling stolen goods, and arson when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody.
