Driver released after biker dies

A man arrested following the death of a motorcyclist in Warwickshire has been released on bail, police said.

Simon David George, 37, of Woodford Halse, Daventry, Northamptonshire, died in the crash outside the Lion House, Welsh Road East, Southam, on 28 July.

Police said his bike was in collision with a BMW car which had been travelling in the opposite direction.

The 41-year-old BMW driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released.

Police urged anyone who saw the crash to contact them.
