Police have appealed for help in tracing a prisoner who absconded from Hollesley Bay in Suffolk on Saturday.

Ronnie Copping, 28, who was serving eight months for handling stolen goods, was discovered missing at 2000 BST.

Copping is described as white, 5ft 7in (170cm), of average build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He has connections to the Great Yarmouth area of Norfolk. Police want anyone who sees Copping to contact them with details.

They should not take any further action, said a Suffolk Police spokesman.
