Work to install a £100,000 water pipeline affecting three Surrey towns has been delayed until the end of the Farnborough International Airshow.
Engineers are set to start work on the water main, affecting Ash, Mytchett and Frimley Green, on Monday.
South East Water said it liaised with Surrey County Council to plan the work during school holidays and after the airshow to minimise disruption.
It said the pipeline would be essential during emergency incidents and drought.
The project is due to be completed by the end of September.
The Farnborough International Airshow is being held in Hampshire until Sunday and celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
It was established in 1948 so the public could see and learn about British aviation engineering.
