Police arrest 32 in drugs raids

Thirty-two men have been arrested following police raids on 41 addresses in a two-day drugs operation.

More than 300 Thames Valley Police officers executed 23 warrants in Slough in Berkshire, seven in London and one in Luton, early on Wednesday.

Ten addresses were also searched in Slough on Tuesday. The 32 suspects remain in custody.

Substances believed to be Class A drugs have been seized and large amounts of cash have also been found.

Operation Falcon is an on-going campaign to stamp out Class A drugs, reduce drug-driving and disorder, police said.

Supt Pete Davies, police commander for Slough, said: "Drug dealers need to know that they will be confronted by police and challenged at every opportunity and today is a prime example of this."
